F.A. Miller & Son started out over 30 years ago in Lameroo, a small South Australian country town about 200km from Adelaide towards the Victorian border. Started by Frank Miller Snr., the business progressed from a machinery dealership and garage into a general engineering works. Frank Miller Snr. and Frank Miller Jnr. then developed the first "Famson" auger, and from there the company has evolved into a manufacturing firm producing several different types of conveyors.
Throughout the development of the company's life, F.A. Miller & Son have remained true to their rural background and our original aim of providing quality machinery with great service to farmers everywhere.
Today, with a wide range of farm machinery being constantly developed and improved, F.A. Miller & Son and Famson are well-known names amongst rural Australia. Probably best known for our augers and belt-in-tube conveyors ("Shifters"), we also provide a number of other agriculture related products, including fertiliser depots, bunkering equipment, bunker frames, and silo intake/outloading systems. With our in house design we are also capable of providing tailor made conveying solutions to suit your individual situation.
